Match Preview: A Clash Between Titans

The next match day has Southside on the road to face-off against Olathe United. Both teams were second and third place finishers in last year’s Select League. If this matchup is anything like last year, fans will be in for a treat. The two matches saw Southside get a late equalizing goal in the first matchup and a 5-3 victory toward the end of the season. Tension between these two teams is anticipated to be high, as there is no love lost between them.

Southside recognizes that Olathe will be a tough challenge, as they have strengthened their team since last year. Not to mention, they are the only remaining undefeated team in the league, having won six out of six matches. This test against Olathe brings excitement, as it is an opportunity to put a dent in Olathe’s pristine armor.

This match will come down to defensive resilience since both teams have the ability to finish chances. Through the first six weeks of the season, both teams have put 20+ goals into the back of the net.
