In collaboration with our Chief Content Officer, we are seeking a dedicated and creative Club Photographer Intern to join our team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with our content expert, contributing to the visual narrative that represents the essence of Southside FC.

Position Overview:

As a Club Photographer Intern, you will play a pivotal role in capturing the spirit, energy, and uniqueness of Southside FC. Working alongside our Chief Content Officer, you will contribute to the creation of compelling visual content used on our club website, social media platforms, and various marketing materials. This internship is an exceptional chance to gain hands-on experience in sports photography and collaborate closely with our content team. This is a non-paid position.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Content Creation:

    • Work closely with Chief Content Officer to align photography with the club's brand and visual storytelling goals.

    • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for visual content.

  • Training Sessions:

    • Capture dynamic and impactful images of players and coaches during training sessions, occurring 3-4 times a month.

  • Matches:

    • Attend and photograph all 18 matches, capturing key moments, emotions, and behind-the-scenes content.

  • Club Events:

    • Document various events organized or attended by the club, ensuring a visually compelling representation of Southside FC in diverse contexts.

  • Editing and Post-Production:

    • Edit and enhance photos to meet the high standards set by the Chief Content Officer and the club's branding guidelines.

  • Communication:

    • Maintain open communication with the Chief Content Officer to ensure alignment with the vision and goals of the club.

  • Equipment:

    • Applicant would be required to have their own equipment to use to come to tasks at hand.

  • Flexibility:

    • Be open to occasional weekend and evening work to cover matches and events.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for sports photography, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.

  • Proficient in photography equipment and editing software.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate match schedules and events.

  • Enrollment in or recent graduation from a photography or related program (preferred but not necessary).
